These Terms of Service govern your use of storyviewerhub.com and any tools or services provided through the site. By using StoryViewer Hub, you confirm that you have read these terms, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We've written this in plain language on purpose. You shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what you're agreeing to.

1. Agreement to These Terms

Accessing any page on storyviewerhub.com — whether or not you actively use the viewer tool — constitutes acceptance of these Terms. This applies regardless of the device, browser, or location you're visiting from.

If you are using the site on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Acceptable Use

StoryViewer Hub is a web-based tool that lets you look up and view publicly available Snapchat stories without needing a Snapchat account. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use — things like checking out a public brand, following a creator's updates, or reviewing public content for research purposes.

You agree to use the service in a way that respects other people's rights and doesn't interfere with the normal operation of the site.

3. What You May Not Do

The following uses are not permitted:

  • Bulk-scraping or automated harvesting of usernames, story data, or profile information — whether for a commercial database, an analytics product, or any other purpose.
  • Re-selling, redistributing, or commercially exploiting content retrieved through our tool without having the rights to do so from the original creator.
  • Using the tool to harass, stalk, monitor, or intimidate any individual.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or trying to bypass any rate-limiting, access controls, or security features.
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers against our site in a way that places unreasonable load on our servers or disrupts service for others.
  • Misrepresenting the source of content retrieved through our tool, or presenting it as your own original work.

Violations may result in your IP being blocked from the service and, where legally appropriate, further action.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All photos, videos, story clips, audio, avatars, and other media displayed through StoryViewer Hub belong to their respective creators and to the social media platforms through which they were published. We do not own, host, or store any of that content on our servers.

Our tool acts as a viewer for content that is already publicly accessible. The responsibility for how you use that content — particularly if you download or share it — rests with you. Downloading and reposting someone else's content without their permission may violate copyright law and/or the platform's own terms of service.

5. DMCA & Content Removal

We take intellectual property rights seriously. If you are a content creator and believe our tool is being used in a way that infringes your copyright, you can request that a specific username or profile be blocked from our service.

To submit a removal request, please email us at info@storyviewerhub.com or use our contact page. Include the following in your request:

  • The Snapchat username you want removed
  • A description of the content and your ownership of it
  • Your contact information so we can follow up

We will process valid requests within 48 hours on business days.

6. Trademark Disclaimers

Important: StoryViewer Hub is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Snapchat, Snap Inc., Meta, Instagram, TikTok, ByteDance, or any other social media company.

Brand names like "Snapchat," "Snap," and related logos are registered trademarks of their respective owners. We use these names only in a descriptive sense — to identify which platform's public content our tool fetches — and not to imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.

7. No Warranties – As-Is Service

StoryViewer Hub is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantee that the tool will work perfectly at all times, that it will always return results for a given username, or that it will remain available without interruption.

Social media platforms — including Snapchat — frequently update their systems, APIs, and content delivery methods. This can affect whether our tool is able to fetch stories at any given time. We can't commit to a specific uptime guarantee, and we may need to adjust or temporarily suspend features in response to platform changes.

We do our best to keep things working, but we can't make promises that aren't within our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StoryViewer Hub and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this service.

This includes but is not limited to: loss of data, reputational harm, account restrictions on third-party platforms, or any technical issues you experience as a result of using our tool.

You use StoryViewer Hub at your own discretion and risk. If you're unsure whether using a story viewer tool is appropriate in your situation, we'd encourage you to seek independent advice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service when necessary — for example, if we add new features, receive legal advice that requires an update, or if platform conditions change in a meaningful way.

When we make changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change has been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We won't hide changes in footnotes — if something material shifts, the relevant section will reflect it clearly.
